Inviting applications for the role of Cloud Engineer - Cloud Architect (Azure)!

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable Azure-based solutions, guiding cloud architecture across infrastructure, networking, and application domains. You will lead CI/CD and IaC practices using tools like Terraform and Azure DevOps, support AKS and containerized environments, and ensure alignment with cloud governance and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement hands-on scalable, reliable Azure-based solutions tailored to complex and dynamic technical requirements
• Design and review Azure topologies, including Landing Zones, Hub-and-Spoke, and hybrid cloud models, aligned with Microsoft-recommended best practices
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to guide solution architecture across compute, networking, storage, identity, and monitoring
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Terraform, ensuring consistent infrastructure deployment
• Design and support containerized environments using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and microservices-based patterns
• Work across multiple cloud domains including infrastructure, platform services, AI and machine learning workloads, and application deployment
• Apply deep knowledge of Cloud Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework, and cost governance tools to ensure operational excellence
• Lead development and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Bicep (CloudFormation experience from AWS considered a plus)
• Provide mentorship and architectural guidance to DevOps, platform, and app development teams
• Stay on top of Azure product updates and introduce improvements that drive performance, scalability, and innovation

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of cloud engineering or solution architecture experience, with a strong focus on hands-on Azure expertise
• Proven experience designing Azure architectures including Landing Zones, Hub-and-Spoke networking, and identity architecture (Azure AD)
• Deep understanding of Azure services (App Services, Storage, VNets, Functions, AKS, Logic Apps, etc.)
• Expertise with IaC (Terraform, Bicep) and pipeline automation with CI/CD tools
• Experience with containerization platforms, especially AKS in production environments
• Ability to touch diverse areas such as AI/ML services, analytics pipelines, and integration with Azure-native services
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python
• Excellent communication skills and cross-team collaboration mindset
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

• Solid grasp of cloud governance, FinOps, and Azure Advisor recommendations
• Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation or other multi-cloud tooling is an advantage
• Able to operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical thinking and architecture decision-making capability
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
