Verobotics is redefining facade services with autonomous, AI-driven robotic

platforms. We use advanced robotics, computer vision, and cloud-based analytics

to enhance safety, lower costs, and change how buildings are maintained and

monitored.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Robotics Navigation Expert to

spearhead the development and implementation of our robotic navigation

systems. This is a crucial position that involves acting

as a key system architect for navigation and influencing our product roadmap.

You will be at the forefront of defining, designing, and integrating the software and

hardware components that enable our autonomous solutions to navigate

effectively. This role is ideal for a candidate who excels in a dynamic environment,

has deep expertise in complex navigation systems, and is passionate about

leading a team to achieve groundbreaking results in robotics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a system engineer and architect for robotic navigation, overseeing

the entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment.

  • Define, design, and develop a robust and scalable navigation solution for the

company autonomous robotic platform.

  • Implement and manage algorithms for simultaneous localization and mapping

(SLAM) and model predictive control (MPC) to ensure precise and reliable

robot movement.

  • Integrate AI and machine learning techniques into navigation systems to

improve autonomy and decision-making.

  • Collaborate closely with perception, software, hardware, and management

teams to define product roadmaps, integrate components, and ensure

seamless system functionality.

  • Oversee testing and validation processes for navigation systems.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets for navigation development

initiatives.

  • Contribute to intellectual property development and stay current with the industry

trends and emerging technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical

Engineering, or a closely related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in robotics engineering, with at least 2 years in a

leadership or senior architectural role.

  • Strong understanding of robotics, control theory (e.g., PID controllers), and

navigation principles.

  • Expertise in SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) and MPC (Model

Predictive Control).

  • Proficiency with robotic operating systems (ROS/ROS2).
  • Proficiency in software development, particularly in C++ and/or Python.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong system-level

understanding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MSc or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.

Experience with safety-critical system standards (ISO 26262 / 25119 or

equivalent).

  • Experience with embedded systems development and integration.
  • Knowledge of sensor fusion techniques and computer vision (AI).

Demonstrated experience applying Agile or Lean principles to robotics

development.

  • Ability to work independently, make critical technical decisions, and drive initiatives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Experience using a physical simulation environment and implementing tests

driven development practices (or similar).

What We Offer

  • A pivotal leadership role in a fast-growing startup, shaping the future of

robotics and automation.

  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in embedded systems, AI, robotics,

and cloud.

  • Significant impact on product definition and the company's strategic direction.

A collaborative and mission-driven team dedicated to real-world impact.
