We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Backend Team Lead to join our growing team. What you’ll do:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • Drive the design, development, and delivery of a high-performance data pipeline.
  • Provide technical guidance and make architectural decisions to ensure scalable and robust solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, frontend, DevOps, and other teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote best practices for clean, maintainable, and secure code.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce new technologies, methodologies, and tools where relevant.
  • Balance hands-on coding with team leadership and project management responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a backend development team lead, with several years as a senior developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Python. Experience with Pydantic and FastAPI is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as ArangoDB and MongoDB.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal.io is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills: mentoring engineers, driving processes, and managing delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical depth with people leadership.
  • Strong communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
