We are seeking an experienced Head of Medical Systems Development for a senior managerial role leading large-scale information systems projects in the healthcare domain.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage development teams and team leaders, including recruitment, retention, and employee development.
• Define individual and organizational objectives and oversee annual work plans aligned with organizational priorities.
• Monitor project execution, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving business needs.
• Provide architectural and technological leadership, delivering high-quality solutions and system modernization initiatives.
• Manage the full lifecycle of core information systems, including modernization of complex legacy systems.
• Drive the integration of systems with external and digital interfaces.
• Actively participate in the senior IT leadership forum, shaping strategic directions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering (Information Systems specialization), Medical Information Systems – or equivalent proven experience in development management.
• 10+ years of experience in software development management, including 5 years in core systems and web-based applications.
• 5+ years of experience managing development teams (programmers and system analysts).
• Proven track record in managing large-scale development projects involving hundreds of man-days, external vendors, and system integration (preferably across diverse domains).
