Position Summary

We’re looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Team Lead to join SciPlay’s SciTech group – our platform team that drives innovation and provides tech solutions empowering our partner teams to create the best player experiences.

You’ll lead a global team of developers and QA engineers (based mainly in Ukraine), guiding both the technical direction and team’s growth, while remaining actively involved in coding and solution design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a distributed team of developers and QA engineers.
• Develop and maintain back-end services with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build and optimize mobile-first web apps using TypeScript, React, and JSX.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services across the full SDLC.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Ensure high standards of performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews, share best practices, and stay updated on emerging technologies.
  
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience.
• 2+ years of proven experience in leading and managing a development team.
• Strong back-end programming skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python.
• Solid knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong front-end skills with HTML, CSS, and modern best practices.
• Experience with modern version control systems (Git, Mercurial).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.

• Previous tech lead experience.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and AWS services (RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, Fargate).
• Familiarity with microservices (Node.js, Lambda) and containerization (Docker, Vagrant).
• Background working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
