Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the WINT R&D department. There, you will create and maintain critical infrastructure for our developers, data scientists, and QA. Your role involves optimizing existing and future systems to maximize stability, performance, and developer productivity. We use a broad spectrum of modern systems such as K8s, various DBs, AWS, and many more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage user roles and implement security best practices.
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Micro-service management, including their Helm charts.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and costs.
• Create and update logging and monitoring systems.
• Provide assistance and guidance for developers in various teams.
• Infrastructure as code and scripting.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of total on-the-job DevOps experience, including:
• 2+ years of K8s experience.
• 2+ years of AWS experience; EC2, EKS, IAM, Route 53, RDS, VPC OR other Cloud infra experience; Azure, GCP, etc.
• 3+ years dealing with Linux and networking, Build tools (Gradle, Maven, etc.), CI/CD, DHCP, DNS, gateways, firewalls, load balancing, routing, shell programming, SCMs, and VPNs.
• A solid foundation in security best practices.
• An independent, self-reliant operator who can work well with several teams.
• Ability to recognize future bottlenecks.
• Creative thinker.

Nice to Have

• B.Sc. in computer science or related.
• AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, ISACA, VMware or other relevant certifications.
• Experience with Datadog or similar systems (ELK, Grafana), GitHub, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CodeArtifact, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, Cognito, ECR, Elasticache, FinOps, Jira, Kafka or similar, OpenSearch, IoT, Lambda, MSK, MySQL, OpenVPN, PostgreSQL, Youtrack.
