Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead with deep expertise as a Senior System Architect to design and drive the development of a new stealth business unit from the ground up. This initiative, part of Elsight, will deliver cutting-edge software solutions for the unmanned domain. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software development with proven experience in machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). Knowledge of cellular networks and communication systems is a strong advantage, supporting seamless integration in unmanned platforms. In this role, you will own the system architecture, de-risk key technologies, and establish the foundation of the engineering team that will bring this vision to life.

You will…

• Architect innovative software solutions for unmanned systems, including autonomous vehicles, drones, or robotics.
• Incorporate ML and AI algorithms to enhance system intelligence, autonomy, and decision-making capabilities.
• Lead the technical design, development, and integration of complex system components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient architectures.
• Develop system frameworks that support real-time data processing, communication, and control.
• Work with vendors, outsourced individuals, and companies to evaluate, integrate, and validate third-party hardware and software solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies in unmanned systems, AI/ML, and cellular communications to drive innovation.
• Build and manage the growing team in the future.
  
  

Requirements:

Apply if you have…

• Startup DNA - thrive in ambiguity, hands-on when needed, and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
• Proven system architecture experience (3+ years as an architect) designing and implementing large-scale end-to-end complex platforms combining data insights, ML analytics, AI technologies, and real-time decision engines.
• Strong background in software development practices, including designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
• Excellent collaboration & communication skills – able to partner with executives, engineers, and external stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear decisions.

• Experience with autonomous vehicles, UAVs, or robotics is a plus.
