Dairycs is pioneering a new category in dairy farming – an autonomous herd management system powered by real-time decision-making and cutting-edge technology.

At the core of our product is intelligence: a software-first approach that brings together data, algorithms, and execution in the field.

We're looking for an Computer Vision Engineer.

If you’re excited by the challenge of building real-time computer vision systems that run outside the lab – in dynamic, real-world environments – this one’s for you

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and deploy CV-AI algorithms for real-time object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
  • Work closely with our Motion Control engineers to create responsive, intelligent robotic behavior.
  • Own the full CV pipeline: from data collection and labelling to model training, testing, and field integration.
  • Manage tagging operations and external annotation vendors.
  • Test and validate your work directly on our machines – in our office, and in our dairy farm.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2–5 years of experience in Computer Vision and AI – both theory and practice.
  • Strong C++ skills – at least 2 years required.
  • Experience in CV-ML (YOLO) – advantage.
  • Experience with NVIDIA JETSON – significant advantage.
  • Experience with neural network pipelines: labelling, training, deploying – advantage.
  • Experience in robotics and multi-disciplinary systems – advantage.
  • A system-level thinker who thrives outside the comfort of a clean lab.

 The mindset:

  • Communicates well, shares knowledge.
  • Thinks creatively and solves practically.
  • Takes full ownership – from spec to debug.
  • Comfortable in the field, not just the clean office.
