About this role:
The solution engineer will be responsible for creating and enhancing tools that assist our T1 and T2 support teams and Implementation Managers, while also providing expert-level T3 support for complex system-related issues.
The team plays a crucial role in developing and optimizing the delivery platforms’ reliability, performance, and scalability while ensuring that any system issues are diagnosed and resolved quickly to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation tools to support the scale efforts of the deployment of our solution to our customers.
- Work with customers to plan and design the Aidoc solution within the customer’s environment according to their specific needs and constraints.
- Design, build, and maintain tools that streamline workflows for T1/T2 support teams and Implementation Managers, allowing them to efficiently troubleshoot, manage incidents, and deploy solutions.
- Own the infrastructure of the tools in use, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency. Optimize performance, manage updates, and support evolving operational needs.
- Automate processes to minimize manual interventions for support teams, improving operational efficiency and speeding up response times for common incidents.
- Provide expert-level T3 support for system-related issues, working cross-functionally with development and operations teams to diagnose, debug, and resolve complex platform problems in production.
- Monitor system performance, proactively identifying potential issues and bottlenecks. Ensure that monitoring tools and alerts are properly configured for early issue detection.
- Work closely with developers and engineers to understand system functionality and architecture, ensuring that support teams have the right tools and knowledge to address and resolve incidents.
- Create clear, user-friendly documentation for support teams and internal stakeholders, including knowledge base articles, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure these resources are updated regularly.
- Lead architecture requirements with customers and address to DevOps and Engineering group.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in one or more of the following roles:
- Solution Engineer
- Professional Services Engineer
- Automations Engineer
- Demonstrated knowledge of SQL.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Windows Server.
- Good understanding of the IT field: servers, networking and secured architectures.
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi and vCenter), including knowledge of clustering features such as High Availability (HA), vMotion, and DRS.
- Knowledge & experience working with production systems, in cloud environments and on-premises.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Powershell, with experience in creating automation scripts that simplify platform management and troubleshooting tasks.
- Ability to dive into the depths of many technological domains and have the ability to be highly detail-oriented and thorough while maintaining and providing a comprehensive perspective of the bigger picture.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- DevOps experience (Writing scripts, Docker, CI/CD pipelines)
- Former position in the healthcare industry, and healthcare IT systems and services - advantage.
- Experience with DICOM, HL7, and FHIR protocols, as well as PACS, RIS, EHR systems - advantage.
