The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in Tel Aviv. In this role, you’ll take ownership of core backend systems that power thousands of real estate transactions. You’ll design, build, and optimize APIs, services, and data pipelines that deliver seamless experiences to our customers.

Working closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers, you’ll have a direct impact on our architecture and play a key role in shaping how our platform evolves as we scale.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Build and scale APIs and microservices that support a high-growth consumer-facing platform.
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Establish and drive engineering best practices: automated testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality features that customers love.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of backend development experience, ideally in high-scale consumer products.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch a plus).
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and A/B testing frameworks.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to deliver end-to-end.
