We are looking for a Test Automation Team Lead to maintain and expand a Java-based testing framework supporting regression, integration, and sanity testing of microservices and AWS Step Functions based system. This is a hands-on leadership role combining framework development with guiding a small automation team in an agile enterprise environment.

This role involves leading a small team of automation engineers while maintaining and enhancing the Java-based test automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of automation engineers
• Maintain and enhance the Java-based test automation framework
• Develop and execute automated test suites for microservices and AWS components
• Ensure integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Define best practices, improve automation coverage, and provide quality metrics to stakeholders

Required Skills

• 4+ years in software test automation, with strong Java development skills
• 2+ years working with TestNG and Spring frameworks
• 1+ years in leading or mentoring a QA automation team or SW development teams
• Familiarity with JUnit 5 and unit testing best practices
• Experience in microservices and API automation; good knowledge of AWS Step Functions and related services
• Background with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar)
• B.A. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent is desired
