Head of Space Electronics Design Department | Yehud | IAI – Missile and Space Systems Division

We are looking for a Head of Space Electronics Design Department to lead our space electronics development team at IAI’s Missile and Space Systems Division.

The position includes:

• Managing the department and leading the team, with full responsibility for the space electronics development department, including direct management of 12 engineers, task definition, work allocation, and professional guidance

• Leading the design and development of electronic boards from requirements definition, specification writing, preliminary and detailed design, and electrical circuit design

• Integrating supporting engineering disciplines and working closely with mechanics, thermal, and reliability teams to ensure full system integration and coordination between disciplines

• Defining, executing, and managing integration tests, analyzing results, and implementing improvements based on engineering needs

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – required

• At least 5 years of experience in developing digital and analog electronic boards – required

• Experience in managing a development team – an advantage

• Familiarity with processors, programmable components, memory devices, and interfaces – significant advantage

• Experience in hardware and software system integration – significant advantage

• Familiarity with common communication protocols (1553, Ethernet, SpaceWire, SPI, UART) – advantage
