RT Embedded SW Team Leader | Lod, israel | IAI

We are looking for an experienced RT Embedded Software Team Leader to join our Aviation Division’s Conversion and Upgrade Center.

The position includes:

• Leading a team of 3–4 RT software engineers

• Developing software for embedded mission computers on combat platforms to enhance operational capabilities for the Air Force and international customers

• Analyzing software requirements, software design, and unit testing

• Implementing RT Embedded software in C/C++

• Participating in system testing and lab integration

• Supporting integration activities in Israel and at customer sites abroad

• Working according to organizational processes, including writing SDP, SRS, SDD, and VDD documentation

• Managing interfaces with multiple engineering disciplines

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering – required

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing an RT development team – required

• At least 5 years of experience in RT Embedded software development in C/C++ – required

• Proven experience with real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Integrity, or Embedded Linux) – required

• Willingness to travel abroad

• Experience with configuration management using GIT – required

• Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP/IP, DDS) – an advantage

• Experience interfacing with BSP – an advantage

• Knowledge of OOP and software modeling – an advantage

• Familiarity with avionics systems in Air Force aircraft and networking systems – an advantage
