Description
As a Hardware Engineer, you will oversee the development of electronic boards and their interactions through ideation, manufacturing, and testing.
Working closely with the mechanics, software, and product leaders.
A focal point for electronics knowledge of the developed products.
Build up and lead the develop internal HW roadmaps, engage potential customers, and propose technical solutions worldwide.
ResponsibilityØ Lead, design, develop and test electronic boards& systems
Ø Definition of hardware in every level of a project, system, board layout & component, follow the certifications stage
Ø Leading the project from the definition stage through PDR/DR to product release
Ø Write supporting documents as part of the design, e.g HSI (HW SW Interface), bring-up& DVT
Requirements
Ø B.Sc. in electrical/electronic engineering - mandatory
Ø At least 10 years of hands-on experience in designing integrated analog, digital, RF and Power systems – mandatory
Ø Debug& DVT development verification tests – mandatory
Ø Experience with processors, memories, and communications such as TCP/IP, USB, serial types, I2C, SPI, wireless, cellular etc.- mandatory
Ø Accompanying the board editing process with all that implies, component libraries, production files – mandatory
Ø Experience in writing requirements documents, specifications, HSI documents for the Embedded software team – mandatory
Ø Ability to work in a combined team of software, engineering& mechanics – mandatory
Ø Practical and proven knowledge and experience in testing circuits and working with laboratory tools (Scope, Signal Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer) – mandatory
Ø Wide experience working with ORCAD - mandatory
Ø English at a high level – mandatory
Ø Experience and ability to build tools for development validation testing – mandatory
Ø Independent, self-learning with good hands - mandatory
Ø Establishing test sets for PCB’s and multidisciplinary products in the production line - an advantage
Ø Knowledge of regulation standards requirements for circuits and systems such as ISO, UL, EMC, RADIO& FCC - an advantage
Ø Working with the certification’s laboratories, accompanying the tests& solving problems for success in the tests - an advantage
Ø Experience in designing FPGA / CPLD components - an advantage
Ø Knowledge of Freescale processors, ST, NXP, TI - an advantag
