Abra R&D is looking for a Backend Java Developer!

This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave (approximately 6 months), where you’ll work on a smart, complex system used by leading insurance companies and banks around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain backend features in a large-scale Java application
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability
• Participate in design reviews and maintain high code quality through best practices
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving real-time customer issues
  
  



Requirements:

Must-Have Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience as a Backend Developer
• Proficiency in Java
  
  

Advantageous Qualifications (Nice To Have)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent military service experience
• Experience working with relational databases (advantage: JPA/Hibernate)
