Database Administrator – Infrastructure & Application

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our Core Infrastructure department. The role includes responsibility for supporting and maintaining large-scale infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, networking, security products, and databases.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain enterprise databases, ensuring high availability and performance
• Perform advanced performance tuning and optimization
• Handle database backup and recovery processes using RMAN
• Work with monitoring and control systems (NMS) to ensure database stability
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and development teams to support complex environments
• Contribute to both project-based and ongoing operational activities in database infrastructure

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of proven experience as an Infrastructure DBA - Must
• At least 3 years of proven experience as an Applications DBA - Must
• Strong hands-on experience in performance tuning - Must
• Experience working with Linux operating systems - Must
• Knowledge of backup and recovery processes using RMAN - Must
• Experience working with monitoring tools - Must
• Experience with Oracle – Must
• Experience with SQL Server – Must
• Experience with MySQL – advantage
• Familiarity with GoldenGate – advantage
