Role Description

We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Lead to grow and guide our engineering team. This hybrid role combines technical leadership with people management:

• Lead and mentor in-house and offshore engineers.
• Drive architectural decisions ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Stay hands-on with coding, design reviews, and CI/CD best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Leadership on roadmap and execution.

Work model: Hybrid, 4 days a week from our office in Tel Aviv (next to the train station).

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including team leadership.
• Strong backend skills (Python/Scala), cloud-based big data (AWS), and experience with ML in production.
• Track record with CI/CD, observability, on-call, and incident response.
• Experience balancing rapid feature delivery with long-term technical health.
• Bonus: familiarity with frontend (TypeScript/React), personalization systems, or privacy-by-design practices.
