About The Role

The Event Management team drives BigPanda’s core event processing, enrichment, and correlation capabilities. We handle millions of daily events across a robust, high-throughput cloud infrastructure and are responsible for transforming raw monitoring data into actionable, enriched incidents.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to help evolve and scale BigPanda’s main event processing pipeline. You’ll contribute to building performant, scalable systems that power real-time incident detection, helping our customers reduce downtime and increase visibility across their IT operations.

What You Will Do

• Design and implement backend features focused on high scale and performance
• Collaborate with product and UX teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
• Maintain and improve infrastructure and component library

What Skills And Experience You’ll Bring To BigPanda

• 3+ years of experience in backend development using at least one of Java, Node.js, or Scala
• Experience making thoughtful technology selections and introducing new tools when appropriate
• React.js experience – a plus
• Demonstrated initiative in driving projects from concept to production
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
