We are looking for a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our R&D team and help shape the company’s Data Platform, a core part of our vision to improve animal health and welfare — from supporting farmers, through pet owners, to wildlife conservation.

Role Overview:

Design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and pipelines to collect, store, and analyze data from diverse sources. Collaborate closely with data scientists and stakeholders to deliver data-driven products.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and models.
• Develop scalable and reliable data solutions for multiple consumers.
• Partner with product and R&D teams to roll out new data-based features.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong SQL expertise and proven Python skills.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with monitoring and data quality tools; Snowflake expertise is a plus.
• Team player with strong collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data architecture, governance, and modeling.
• Familiarity with DBT, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or Matillion.
