Join us at Intuit’s IDX PS-Engineering group as a Development Manager, where you’ll have the exciting opportunity to lead the development of critical tools that power the Professional Services (PS) organization. In this role, you’ll guide a team of talented, highly motivated engineers to build innovative solutions that support all of Intuit’s offerings. You’ll oversee the design, development, and maintenance of PS tools, AI-driven automation services, and enhanced capabilities for the PS Salesforce ticketing system , all with an “AI-First” mindset. This is a high-impact leadership role within a growing team, where your contributions will directly drive operational excellence and scalable innovation across the company.

What you'll bring

  • 6+ years of experience in a software engineering management role, with prior hands-on experience as a developer
  • A people-first leader, passionate about developing individuals and building strong teams
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Hands-on experience with Java and Python
  • Proven track record of building web applications, working with databases, and designing microservices-based systems
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and scalable solution design
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and agile processes
  • Background in supporting both internal and external customers, managing operations, and communicating with key stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – in both Hebrew and English
  • Preferred: experience working with distributed teams, including offshore and outsourced teams (India and US)
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

How you will lead

  • Build a high-performing team by putting the right people in the right roles at the right time
  • Lead PS tools development efforts, including setting priorities, providing time estimates, managing releases, and ensuring execution
  • Guide, coach, and mentor software engineers including hands-on involvement, technical guidance, design and code reviews
  • Evaluate employee performance, set expectations and goals, recruit, train, and support career growth for team members
  • Drive innovation by initiating and embracing new ideas that deliver measurable impact for our customers
  • Define and promote engineering standards, development processes, and best practices to ensure delivery of scalable, high-quality software
  • Partner closely with IDX Platform teams to optimize integration, streamline development processes, and enhance user experience
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Program Management, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and other Engineering leaders
