At Equashield, we’re transforming medical safety with breakthrough pharmacy automation and robotics. We’re seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our Software & Automation team and help develop intelligent systems that power the next generation of medical robotics.
Your work will focus on developing ML and computer vision models that enable our robots to ‘see’ and operate more safely and accurately in real-world pharmacy environments.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and optimize computer vision models for tasks such as object detection, recognition, and anomaly detection from camera feeds.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, QA, and product teams to integrate models into real-time decision and control systems.
- Integrate perception algorithms with robotic control systems to improve automation accuracy.
- Improve ML deployment workflows and contribute to MLOps practices.
- Document models, experiments, and validation processes for regulatory and audit needs
What You Bring
- B.A./B.Sc. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Solid understanding of ML fundamentals: supervised/unsupervised learning, validation, evaluation metrics..
- Proficiency with ML libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow or PyTorch).
- Ability to write clean, modular, production-ready Python code.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and model integration into backend services.
- A curious mindset, collaborative approach, and passion for applying data to real-world challenges.
Nice to Have
- Experience deploying ML models to production (Docker, containers, REST services).
- Background in real-time systems, computer vision, or image processing (OpenCV, Pillow).
- Familiarity with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML).
- Experience in medical/regulated systems (ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
