Customers such as Brookfield Properties, JLL, Skanska, and IWG rely on qbiq for generating a wide range of architectural outputs, including architectural programs, programmatic or conceptual layouts, high-resolution rendered tours and images, and CAD/Revit models. The platform considers both basic and complex requirements to produce detailed and accurate results swiftly.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead to join our R&D department and lead three dynamic and talented teams: Backend Developers, Algorithm Engineers, and 3D Specialists.

Main responsibilities:

•Lead and manage cross-functional teams in backend development, algorithms, and 3D technology.

•Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to define technical roadmaps and deliver high-quality solutions.

•Mentor and guide team members in their technical and professional growth.

•Ensure efficient workflows, high code quality, and timely delivery of milestones.

•Contribute hands-on when necessary, especially in Python-based 

Required:

• 5+ years of backend development experience, strong Python skills—mandatory.
• 3+ years in a team-lead role, with proven experience managing Python-based projects.
• ⁠Experience leading backend development teams (microservices, APIs, databases, etc.).
• Familiarity with algorithm development and 3D technologies – advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive technical excellence and foster a culture of innovation.
