Database Lifecycle Team Lead
Redis is looking for a strong technical leader to lead our new
Database Lifecycle Team—a group focused on building and owning the core systems that manage the full lifecycle of Redis Enterprise databases. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead a talented team and shape the direction of a critical domain in the Redis Enterprise control plane.
The team’s mission is to design and operate the control flows behind database provisioning, scaling, upgrades, recovery, persistence, and high availability. These systems are foundational to Redis Enterprise reliability and automation—powering our hybrid and cloud-native deployments with performance, resiliency, and observability at scale.
As team lead, you’ll drive both the technical strategy and team growth needed to meet current challenges and build for the future. You’ll lead complex projects, bring clarity and direction to evolving areas, and ensure Redis Enterprise databases run smoothly, efficiently, and autonomously.
Why would you love this job?
This role offers the opportunity to lead a deeply technical domain with significant ownership and visibility. You’ll work on backend systems that must be scalable, self-healing, and production-grade—supporting Redis databases across diverse environments. If you’re passionate about leading engineers, solving distributed systems problems, and delivering reliable, automated infrastructure, this role is for you.
Our ideal candidate is an individual who loves to work in a team, is passionate about technology, and excels in enabling others to succeed.
