Experienced Software Engineer – Core Infra

Redis is looking for a mid-level Software Engineer to join our Core Infra team

Our tram is a high-trust team that collaborates with nearly every engineering group at Redis. We value simplicity, clarity, and impact — and we build tools that make life easier for the engineers around us.

You'll work at the intersection of infrastructure and product — collaborating with teams across the organization, shaping critical workflows, and influencing the architecture behind Redis’s core technologies. What You’ll Do

• Build and scale core infrastructure for Redis products — with a focus on reliability, performance, and observability.
• Lead and participate in architecture discussions and cross-team initiatives.
• Design internal tools and development platforms that empower engineering teams.
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to drive smarter, faster infrastructure.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - A must
• 2+ years of hands-on software development experience (Python preferred) - A must
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and modern software practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
• Proactive mindset, strong ownership, and clear communication skills
  
  

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Redis or other NoSQL databases
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Comfortable working in Linux environments
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
