BMC is looking for a DevOps Engineering Manager with a passion for innovation, operational excellence, and large-scale enterprise systems!
In this role, you will lead a team of DevOps Engineers, both locally and remotely, who play a critical role in building Control-M SaaS infrastructure. Control-M powers automation for the world’s largest and most complex organizations. We are looking for a leader with proven experience in managing DevOps teams working on critical, complex, and scalable enterprise products.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and expand a high-performing DevOps team responsible for scalable SaaS infrastructure.
- Manage a growing group of engineers and team leaders, working both locally and remotely.
- Own all aspects of people leadership: hiring, mentoring, performance management, task prioritization, and career development.
- Oversee the design, development, and evolution of our CI/CD and deployment strategy using AWS and Kubernetes.
- Drive infrastructure architecture decisions for high-availability, large-scale production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while ensuring system stability and resilience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, Support, Product Management, and others) in a global, matrixed organization.
What You Bring to the Role:
- 3+ years of experience managing SaaS DevOps or infrastructure engineering teams in mid-to-large scale enterprise environments .
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, including ownership of production environments at scale.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams working on mission-critical systems with strict uptime, performance, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience with cloud-native SaaS architecture on AWS (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Jenkins).
- Expertise in automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability.
- Strong people leadership skills, including coaching and team development.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-team collaboration capabilities.
- Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Background in global enterprise companies with distributed infrastructure.
- Experience with observability platforms like DataDog.
- Familiarity with IT compliance, security, and operational maturity practices.
