About The Role

Platform Team Lead and take full ownership of the platform layer powering our AI-based, high-scale product. You’ll lead a team of talented engineers, own strategy and architecture, and stay hands-on with critical design and development. This is a key leadership role where you'll shape the infrastructure, services, and tooling that drive everything we build.
Your responsibilities:
- Define and evolve the long-term vision for Blink’s application platform, translating product ambitions into a clear technical roadmap
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team that values craftsmanship, autonomy, and rapid delivery
- Own key infrastructure components, ensuring performance, scalability, and security
- Partner closely with DevOps, Product, and peer engineering teams to ensure the platform scales gracefully as usage and feature complexity surge
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and innovation across the broader R&D organization
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- 4+ years of experience as a Software or Platform Engineer
- At least 2 years in a leadership role
- Deep understanding of modern cloud-native architecture (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, microservices)
- Hands-on experience with backend development (Go preferred, Python, Java or C#)
- Expertise in operating high-scale SaaS systems on AWS, GCP or Azure, with solid grounding in infrastructure-as-code, observability, and secure software development
- Proven track record of building secure, reliable, and scalable systems
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Experience in a high-scale SaaS environment
