Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a collaborative development team, focusing on property insurance claims
• Develop and enhance COBOL-based solutions on AS400
• Integrate with third-party systems and external interfaces
• Drive projects in an agile (scrum) setting

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience developing COBOL on AS400
• Proven experience writing and maintaining CL programs (CLPs)
• Advanced SQL skills, including working with DB2
• In-depth knowledge of AS400 system administration and architecture

Advantageous:

• Background in insurance—especially property insurance
• Familiarity with RPG development
• Experience in system analysis or additional programming languages
