Full Stack Software Team Leader | IAI – Aviation Group

IAI’s Aviation Group is looking for a Full Stack Software Team Leader to join the Aircraft Conversion and Upgrade Center.

The position includes:

• Leading full stack software development for simulators and user interface applications on airborne mission computers for advanced combat platforms

• Analyzing software requirements and defining system architecture

• Implementing full stack software, task delegation, and performing code reviews

• Participating in system and unit testing

• Supporting integration activities in labs and at customer sites in Israel and abroad

• Meeting project milestones, quality standards, and delivery goals

• Working according to engineering management procedures

• Managing interfaces with multidisciplinary engineering teams

What we’re looking for:

• BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science – mandatory

• At least 3 years of experience as a Tech Lead or Software Team Leader – mandatory

• 5 years of experience in full stack software development – mandatory

• 3 years of experience with React (Front End) and C#/.NET (Back End) – mandatory

• Experience using Git for version control – mandatory

• Proven experience working on Linux OS – advantage

• Experience with DDS, REST-API, and WebSocket protocols – advantage

• Experience working with databases and GIS – advantage

• Familiarity with avionics systems and networked environments – advantage

This role involves full stack software development for mission-critical airborne applications used by the Israeli Air Force and global partners. IAI’s Aviation Group leads the global market in aircraft conversion and military upgrades, with over 2.5 million flight hours in converted cargo aircraft. The division also specializes in avionics upgrades, mission system integration, and conversion of aircraft for VIP transport, aerial refueling, and special operations.
