We're looking for an experienced RT Embedded Software Team Leader to join our Aviation Division!
The Position includes:
- Leading a team of 3–4 Real-Time software engineers
- Develop embedded software for mission computers in airborne combat platforms, enhancing operational capabilities for the Israeli Air Force and international air forces
- Analyze software requirements and design, develop, and implement RT Embedded software
- Perform unit testing and participate in system-level testing and integration in labs
- Support system integration in Israel and at various customer sites abroad
- Work according to software engineering standards, including writing documents such as SDP, SRS, SDD, and VDD
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical interfaces
What We’re Looking For:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering – required
- At least 2 years of experience leading a Real-Time development team – required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in RT Embedded development using C/C++ – required
- Proven experience working with RTOS such as VxWorks, Integrity, or Embedded Linux – required
- Willingness to travel abroad
- Experience with GIT for configuration management – required
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, DDS – advantage
- Experience working with BSP interfaces – advantage
- Strong background in OOP and software modeling – advantage
- Familiarity with airborne avionic systems and military networking environments – advantage
