We are looking for a talented, experienced, and hands-on Senior BI Data Engineer to join our growing Strat Up.

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and execution of business intelligence and data engineering strategies that drive key decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for owning the entire BI and Data Warehouse lifecycle—from gathering business requirements to building scalable data pipelines and actionable dashboards. This is a high-impact, individual contributor and leadership role that requires both strategic thinking and technical depth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the BI & Data Warehouse Strategy: Define and execute the architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives and technical scalability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, R&D, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and external stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Business Analysis & Insight Generation: Collect and analyze business requirements, delivering actionable insights to support strategic initiatives.
• Data Modeling & Pipeline Development: Hands-on design and implementation of dimensional data models and ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt, Airbyte and Airflow.
• Dashboard & Reporting Ownership: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts using Tableau (preferred), and optionally other tools (Looker, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
• Performance Monitoring: Deliver reports and visualizations that track key product and company performance metrics.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or analytics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate complex data into clear business insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL design.
• Expert-level SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Proficiency in Airbyte, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and Tableau – strong advantage.
• Experience with Python for data workflows or automation – advantage.
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
