abra R&D is seeking a Mainframe COBOL Developer!

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe COBOL Developer to join our team. The role involves developing and maintaining critical banking systems with real-time processing across multiple platforms and ensuring seamless integration between software and hardware components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain systems in a Mainframe (MF) environment using COBOL
• Work with VSAM, DB2, and JCL technologies
• Participate in full software lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Handle production issues and ongoing system enhancements
• Collaborate with other technical and business teams to ensure smooth system operations
  
  



Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in COBOL development in a Mainframe (MF) environment – Must
• Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language) – Must
• Experience with DB2 development in a Mainframe environment – Must
• Hands-on experience with CICS programming – Must
• Familiarity with ROSCOE or TSO – Must
• Availability to handle emergency issues (occasionally)
