We're Hiring: VP R&D – Defense Technology

We're looking for a visionary and hands-on R&D leader to join our growing team and help shape the future of core defense technologies. This is an opportunity to lead talented engineers, define technical strategy, and take part in cutting-edge product development that directly contributes to national security.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the entire software development lifecycle: planning, design, implementation, testing, and delivery
• Own both functional and non-functional aspects of system design and architecture
• Set the technological roadmap in collaboration with system and business stakeholders
• Build and mentor high-performing teams across backend, frontend, DevOps, and QA
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, deployment, and commercial teams
• Represent the division’s capabilities to customers, partners, and leadership

What we're looking for:

• 7+ years of experience in R&D leadership (Director/VP level), managing 30+ engineers - Must
• 10+ years of software development experience in .NET (C#) - Must
• Proven track record with distributed systems and microservices architecture - Must
• Experience managing QA and DevOps teams - Must
• Strong background in software architecture, system design, and agile methodologies - Must
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies (Angular, React, or Vue) - Must
• Deep understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (GIT, TFS) - Must
• Strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English
• BSc in Computer Science or related field
