The System and Integration Engineer will play a key role in the development, integration, and testing of advanced satellite systems. This position combines system-level engineering responsibilities with hands-on integration and verification activities across multidisciplinary domains, including electro-optical payloads, embedded electronics, RF communications, and software systems.
The engineer will work closely with development teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure that complex subsystems operate together seamlessly, comply with design requirements, and achieve mission objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering (Electrical Engineering with relevant specialization is acceptable).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in system engineering and/or integration and testing of multidisciplinary systems.
- Strong hands-on experience working with electronics, RF equipment, and integration setups.
- Proven background in software development or integration (e.g., scripting, embedded SW, test automation).
- Experience with hardware/software interfaces, communication protocols, and instrumentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in technical English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define, analyze, and manage system and subsystem requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and execute hands-on integration and testing of hardware and software components:
- Electro-optical payloads
- Electronic boards and embedded systems
- RF transmitters and communication modules
- Ground-space interfaces
- Perform functional, environmental, and performance tests in laboratory and clean-room environments.
- Develop and execute test procedures, collect and analyze test data, and generate verification documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, and system interfaces.
- Contribute to the definition of system architectures, interface control documents, and verification plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and international customers.
