Job Description

As a server engineer in Wix's Internal Platform Engineering team, you'll design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure and tools to support our development and operations teams. You'll work on innovative projects that enhance system performance, ensure high availability, and streamline deployment pipelines for efficient software delivery. In your day-to-day, you will:

• Develop generative AI tools and agents to enhance and improve Wix's velocity
• Build inter-company systems and tools, including E2E solutions
• Design and maintain API gateways and tailored security solutions
• Improve development workflows, accelerate deployments, and ensure system reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in backend development
• Skilled in backend technologies such as Python, NodeJS, Java, and TypeScript
• Broad understanding of software architecture and design
• Expertise in software best practices and testing (unit tests, integration tests, load tests, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
• Flexible and adaptable to different technologies
