We're looking for a Head of FPGA Department for our Missile and Space Systems Division.
The Position includes:
- This role involves leading the FPGA department specializing in embedded systems and advanced hardware infrastructures for weapon system defense—covering the entire process from initial specifications to full system integration.
- Managing a team of 7 employees, including FPGA development engineers, verification specialists, and defense system professionals.
- High-level architectural design for verification and logic development
- Mentoring, guiding, and advancing the professional development of department staff
- Developing test methodologies using simulators and complex control systems
- Creating and implementing advanced development protocols, including IP development and generic content methodologies
- R&D in FPGA and hardware-based cybersecurity with new technologies and implementation
- Cross-functional collaboration with hardware, system engineering, infrastructure software, and application departments
- Managing interfaces with business units and operational and corporate bodies
- Defining and overseeing work plans, budgets, and pricing
- Supervising and managing subcontractors in logic design
- Recruiting, developing, and retaining talent
What We're Looking For:
- B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logic design for embedded systems – mandatory
- Team leadership experience – mandatory
- Proficiency in VHDL hardware description languages – mandatory
- Experience with Modelsim simulation tools – mandatory
- Familiarity with Xilinx/Altera components – mandatory
- Proven experience in integration and testing of complex systems involving firmware, hardware, and software – mandatory
- Experience with ARM-based processors (MPSOC, HPS) - Advantage
- Advantage: Experience with soft-core CPUs like NIOS/MicroBlaze - Advantage
- Familiarity with Questa verification tools - Advantage
- ·Experience developing electronic boards in embedded environments - Advantage
- Background in communication systems, especially Ethernet - Advantage
