CI SEMI, a division of CI SYSTEMS, specializes in advanced technologies for the semiconductor industry.
We develop and provide cutting-edge equipment and solutions for semiconductor manufacturing, development, and testing.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Engineer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on the design, development, and testing of analog and digital circuits, with a strong emphasis on detecting and processing small analog signals. The ideal candidate will have design and hands-on experience in low-noise analog front-end design, digital hardware integration, and embedded system development using CPUs and FPGAs.
The Role Will Include:
- Design, simulate, and test analog circuits, including low-noise amplifiers, filters, ADC interfaces, and precision signal paths.
- Develop digital circuits and systems, integrating CPUs, FPGAs, and peripheral components.
- Design and implement PCB layouts for mixed-signal systems.
- Write embedded firmware for microcontrollers and program FPGAs (e.g., VHDL/Verilog).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and test engineering.
- Support product testing, debugging, and troubleshooting from prototype to production.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years experience in mixed-signal analog and digital circuit design.
- Proven experience with low-level analog signal detection and conditioning.
- Proficient in designing with op-amps, ADCs, DACs, filters, and sensor interfaces.
- Experience with digital system design using FPGAs (e.g. Altera).
- Strong knowledge of embedded CPUs/microcontrollers (e.g., PSoC, STM32).
- Familiarity with tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, LTspice, and ModelSim.
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in signal integrity and EMI/EMC best practices.
- Knowledge of communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Prior work in sensors, or scientific instrumentation is a plus.
