We are looking for a Senior FPGA Engineer to join the Engineering & Systems department at IAI’s Missile & Space Systems Division.
What you’ll do:
- Join a small, highly skilled R&D team as part of a multidisciplinary project
- Design and implement programmable logic devices (FPGAs)
- Perform synthesis, place & route (P&R), and generate bitstreams for FPGA programming
- Conduct laboratory testing and validation, and write technical specifications and test documentation
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, support hardware-software integration, and define interface requirements
What we’re looking for:
- B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering – required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA development – required
- Strong familiarity with IP libraries and hard cores
- Experience with physical design and timing constraints (timing closure, placement, I/O)
- Experience in verification (SystemVerilog) – advantage
- Familiarity with common interfaces (Ethernet, I2C, SPI, etc.) – advantage
- Experience with embedded processors in FPGA (uBlaze, NIOS, RISC-V, ARM) – advantage
