COBOL Developer

Location: Petach Tikva (Work in Client's site. Hybrid, one day work from home)

Job Description:

• Working as part of a development team in the General Insurance Claims domain
• Software development in COBOL on AS/400 systems
• Working with external interfaces
• Agile work in fast-paced environments

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in COBOL software development on AS/400 systems
• Experience in developing CL programs
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Solid familiarity with AS/400 system environment (SYS) and DB2 database work
• Strong teamwork skills
• Proactive, highly motivated, with a "can-do" attitude
• Ability for self-learning and broad system perspective
• End-to-end ownership capabilities
• High work ethic

Advantages:

• Knowledge in the insurance industry, preferably General Insurance
• Experience with RPG programming
• Experience in systems analysis
• Familiarity with additional programming languages
