We are looking for an Android Engineer to join our Mobile team. You will be responsible for development and maintenance of the Fiverr Android application aimed at a range of Android devices. Join us and take part of a growing product with more than 50 million downloads!

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

• Design, develop and maintain Fiverr application for the Android platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of Android development.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with Kotlin.
• Proficient in writing readable, maintainable, performant object-oriented Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with Android Jetpack: ViewModel, Data Binding, Live Data, ViewPager2 and more
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Tested, Provisioned, Compiled, and Deployed an application to Google Play Store.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Expertise in writing complex XML layouts.
• Understanding of Google’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Passionate for benchmarking and optimization.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git).
• Proactive and out of the box thinking.
• BSc. in CS or similar.
