Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience designing and developing full-stack software using modern technologies.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular) and building user-friendly and responsive web interfaces.
  • Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, and EDR (advantage).
  • Understanding of backend systems, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies (e.g. GCP).
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Python, or other programming languages.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer in the Chronicle SOAR Response team, you'll build the future of cyber-security response. You'll own the full development lifecycle of impactful projects, from design to production and beyond. You will be working alongside a team of engineers and tech leads, and collaborate with Product Management, UX, and Technical Writing.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and launch impactful projects for our cyber-security response platform, taking full ownership of the the entire development lifecycle, from design to implementation, testing, release, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with software architects, engineers, product managers, UX designers and other engineering teams to define project scope, gather requirements, and ensure successful feature development and release.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring adherence to high-quality coding standards across our team's components and services.
  • Identify and address issues, performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges, ensuring the platform can handle increasing data volumes and user demands.
