The ATE HW Engineer is responsible for working with engineering teams to develop the ATE testing stations. We are seeking a highly experienced ATE Hardware Engineer with a strong background in RF, digital, and system-level testing. This role requires deep hands-on knowledge and the ability to design, develop, and support advanced test equipment for complex electronic systems used in production environments.


What will you do:

  • Design and develop Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for RF, digital, and mixed-signal products at both board and system levels.
  • Collaborate with R&D, product engineering, and manufacturing teams to define and implement test strategies and solutions.
  • Analyze and understand system schematics, block diagrams, and interface requirements to create robust and reliable ATE.
  • Support production lines by troubleshooting test failures and optimizing test processes for yield and throughput improvements.
  • Interface with software and firmware teams to integrate hardware with control and automation systems.
  • Evaluate and select test instruments, fixtures, and measurement techniques based on product specifications.
  • Maintain documentation for test systems, including design files, calibration procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Train technicians and engineers on ATE operation and maintenance.


What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. Practical Engineer (PE) with strong, proven experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ATE development and production line support.
  • Proven expertise in both RF and digital hardware design and testing.
  • Solid understanding of system-level architecture and ability to work from schematics and high-level block diagrams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting test setups and product failures.
  • Experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators) and digital scopes, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages for test automation, Python – a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
