We are looking for a Software Architect to join our R&D team lead the solution definition and architecture of functional and technical product initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for translating product requirements into clear technical specifications, breaking down features into development-ready tasks. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and scrum teams to ensure readiness for implementation

This is a hands-on role that performs at the intersection of product, engineering, and delivery. You will take a part in customer-facing activities, providing technical expertise throughout all phases of a project, starting from supporting pre-sell activities and relevant engagements with the customer IT organization.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level product requirements into detailed architecture and development tasks
• Provide technical expertise throughout the whole product delivery life cycle to relevant stakeholders – collaborate with product management during requirements definition and support the development process throughout it’s various phases.
• Conduct hands on proof of concepts
• Take part in customer-facing technical initiatives, including pre-sell and engagement with the customers IT organization.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for strategic initiatives and development readiness

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a software architect / technical lead
• Proven experience working in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes-based, cloud-native architectures, both on premise and in the public cloud.
• Experience with designing and building distributed, large scale data and ML-oriented solutions using frameworks such as Spark and Airflow.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or Java microservices
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases: Postgres, OpenSearch/Elastic, object storage
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
• Background in the financial sector (banking / Fintech) – an advantage
• Past experience in a customer facing technical role – an advantage
