Full-time position | Hybrid: 1 day/week from home | Location: Migdal HaEmek

Looking to work at the heart of a groundbreaking unmanned aerial system?

Steadicopter – a young, dynamic and leading company in the field of Rotary Unmanned Aerial Systems (RUAS) – is inviting you to join a small, talented and dedicated team developing code that flies.


What will you do?

  • Develop the next generation of software for unmanned helicopters
  • Program real-time embedded systems based on ARM - with or without an RTOS
  • Work directly on flight logic, sensor integration, communication interfaces, and data processing.
  • Be involved in all stages of development - from design to flight tests
  • Collaborate closely with Ground Control Software and electronics teams


Technologies and projects you'll work on:

  • Development of RTOS and Bare-Metal environments, CANopen, LWIP, FileSystem, Bootloader
  • Work with protocols such as UART, CAN, SPI, I2C, PWM, Ethernet
  • Develop and optimize algorithms for flight control and fault detection
  • Build advanced HIL/SIL simulation and CI/CD testing environments


Requirements:

  • Proficiency in embedded C programming and low-level software design
  • Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems
  • Ability to write drivers for ARM Cortex-based processors
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python - an advantage
  • Experience in aerospace or defense systems - strong advantage
  • Independence, sharp thinking, true team spirit without ego,
  • and the drive to do what it takes to get airborne
