Position Summary
We are looking for a talented SQL Server DBA who is Experienced in full-cycle database administration on multiple databases.
In this role, You will interface with various development teams and support their project life cycles while ensuring that the databases are available, recoverable, secure, and meeting the performance expectations. Collaborates with other DBAs, participates in internal projects, and leads some initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Implement the future data architecture in Pandologic, providing 24/7 real-time and near real-time scalable and resilient data store for our growing stack of products and microservices
- Administrate, provision and monitor dozens of database instances
- Develop strategic solutions to recurring problems
- Guide development teams and mentor other team members
- Use your creativity to resolve complex and high scale data related issues
What You'll Need
- 5+ yrs. of experience as a SQL Server DBA (2017 and above)
- 3+ yrs. of experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting databases
- 3+ yrs. Experience in developing and maintaining Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers and relevant database objects
- Experience with additional Relational databases, such as MySQL - Advantage
- 1+ yrs Experience with NoSQL databases such as Elastic Search
- Knowledge with ETL methodologies and technologies
- Experience with problem analysis and tuning on multiple database technologies
- Design, Analyze, Manage and Create relational Database
- Experience with DB troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Experience with HA / DR solutions - Advantage
- Windows and power shell scripting skills - Advantage
- Windows Server and OS fundamentals- Advantage
- Linux Based system knowledge - Advantage
- Familiarity with Cloud base technologies (AWS / Azure) - Advantage
