The Engineering & Systems Division in the Missiles and Space Systems Directorate is seeking a Computer Vision Algorithm Developer.
Responsibilities include: Development of detection and tracking algorithms for a variety of electro-optical sensors Specification and collaboration in the creation of test scenarios, simulation tools, and databases for algorithm verification Formulation of alternative algorithmic solutions for detection and tracking in noisy environments Implementation of algorithms using MATLAB, C++, and Python Comparative performance analysis and documentation of algorithmic designs End-to-end testing in collaboration with systems engineering teams Specification, support, and analysis of field experiments Optimization using machine learning tools Leading the algorithmic development of electro-optical trackers Managing and leading a small, high-quality team
Requirements: BSc in Engineering or Exact Sciences – mandatory MSc – an advantage At least 5 years of experience in classical image processing – mandatory Significant advantage: experience in sensor data fusion Advantage: experience in team leadership or management Strong knowledge in statistics and probability – mandatory High analytical skills, self-learning ability, motivation, and strong interpersonal skills
