You will be part of Mobileye's REM (Road Experience Management) department which is responsible for the automatic High Definition map-making process, a key technology in Mobileye's autonomous driving and high-end Driving Assistance systems. This process involves running advanced algorithmic code in a massively parallel way, utilizing Big Data technologies, and as such is a complex system that requires a deep understanding of our map creation process as well as advanced technical abilities.
We're seeking a Geometrically Inclined Algorithm Developer to solve real-world geometrically oriented problems using Signal Processing. The role involves developing and maintaining algorithms in Python, with a focus on both existing products and new features. You'll work hands-on throughout the process, from research to production, collaborating with other teams. The position has a direct impact on autonomous driving technologies and saving lives.
What will your job look like:
- Your job will include a combination of classic programming and algorithm development.
- You will develop in python.
- You will need to both maintain the product and develop new features.
- You will need to learn and develop new algorithms which can address new problems as they arise.
All you need is:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or Physics - a must.
- 2+ years of experience in developing in Python. (Specifically, NumPy, pandas and PySpark are an advantage)
- Proven ability to solve complex problems.
- Advanced degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) – an advantage.
- Experience in statistical estimation – an advantage.
- Experience in real-time programming, preferably in C/C++ – an advantage.
