Kissterra is seeking an experienced, creative, and independent Data Analyst to join our expanding data team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping strategic business decisions, collaborating across departments, and driving insights that enhance our products and services.


Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's data strategy.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across relevant areas of the business.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines (e.g., data warehousing, ETL processes).
  • Perform data modeling and optimization, designing and implementing data models, leveraging methodologies like normalized and deformalized to enhance database performance and analytics.
  • Integrate data and analytics into everyday operational processes and workflows.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis, presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and data science.
  • Build predictive models to forecast trends
  • Lead A/B testing, planning, monitoring, and analyzing A/B tests, deriving actionable insights for user and product improvements.



Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a data analysis, data science, or related analytical role, demonstrating proficiency in applying advanced analytical methods.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency with a strong ability to write complex, efficient queries and database optimization techniques.
  • Experience in building predictive models.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Proven experience in data modeling, designing relational and columnar database structures using methodologies like normalized and denormalized.
  • Experience working with cloud databases and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong analytical abilities, with experience in trend analysis, cohort management, and A/B test evaluations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
  • Strong Data Storytelling Skills.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Bonus: Experience with Python (or R).
