We’re seeking a self-motivated backend or full stack engineer with a strong sense of ownership and outstanding communication skills.

This role will require you build features end to end while collaborating closely with other developers, as well as with the Product, Design, Business, Data, and Machine Learning teams — all with the goal of delivering a seamless, joyful experience for our customers.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

• Be part of a team building production applications across backend, frontend, data, cloud, application infrastructure, and machine learning disciplines
• Collaborate closely with business and product functions, while managing engineering trade offs, to achieve the best possible business and compliance outcomes
• Own new products and features throughout the software development lifecycle - design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, maintain
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and performant code (probably in Python)
• Coach and mentor team members, participate in code reviews
  
  

Requirements:

• 4+ years work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience
• Experience with cloud native architecture
• Experience with Python, Pulumi\Terraform, AWS - a plus
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Startup experience - a plus
