Job Description
As a Data Scientist at CorrActions, you will be at the forefront of cognitive state research, developing cutting-edge deep learning algorithms and models for cognitive states detection with real-world impact on road safety. You will collaborate with a team of experts in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to push the boundaries of what is possible in the realm of cognitive state monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection and Analysis
- Gather and analyze large volumes of multimodal driving data.
- Develop algorithms to process and interpret complex physiological and behavioral data collected during driving simulations and real-world scenarios.
- Collaborate with neuroscientists to interpret drivers data in the context of driving behavior and cognitive load.
Model Development
- Create machine learning models to detect driver drowsiness, inattention, and other risky behaviors.
- Develop predictive models to forecast potential safety risks based on driver's physiological and behavioral patterns.
- Optimize algorithms for deployment in vehicle environments, ensuring they can run efficiently with limited computational resources.
- Conduct ongoing research to refine and enhance the accuracy and reliability of driver state detection algorithms.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- PhD or MSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5 Years experience as a Data Scientist.
- ML, DL: PyTorch.
- Multivariate Time Series Analysis: Ability to handle and interpret complex temporal data.
- Data Analysis: Proficient in extracting insights from large datasets.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python.
- MLOps: Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools like ClearML.
- Cloud Computing: Experience with AWS.
- Version Control: Proficiency in Git for source code management.
Advantage
- Computational Neuroscience: Understanding of brain-inspired algorithms and models.
- Knowledge of signal processing techniques for EEG, ECG, and other physiological data.
- Familiarity with computer vision techniques and facial recognition algorithms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
