We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack engineering team within the Mobile Pillar of our Field Service organization. This team is responsible for building and enhancing key features to drive our Field Service Mobile application, focusing on delivering exceptional user experiences for our field technicians. You will play a critical role in driving the technical direction, execution, and delivery of innovative mobile solutions that empower our customers in the field.
Your Impact
- Lead a team of full stack engineers.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, promoting engineering best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and coach engineers on the team, providing guidance on technical challenges, career development, and performance management.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements, define technical specifications, and contribute to the product roadmap for the mobile application.
- Implement effective engineering processes and policies.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and enhancements, effectively managing project scope and timelines.
- Proactively identify and address technical risks and challenges.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of engineering management experience leading high-performing teams.
- A strong technical background, allowing you to engage effectively in architecture and product discussions with engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Excel at balancing competing priorities and making quick, informed decisions to meet technical needs.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver complex software projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility, proactivity, and comfortable working with minimal specifications to create clarity and direction.
- Experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading engineers.
- Demonstrated experience on working on a user facing product.
- Professional level or written and spoken English.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
